It is with great saddness that the family of Alistair (Al) Laird of Kirkfield, announces his passing at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Monday February 18, 2013, at age 73. He was the beloved husband of 51 years to Betty (McOuatt) Laird. Dear father of Cindy Laird (Steve) Wesley, Debbie Laird-Allen. Cherished Grandfather of Brandon & Amber Allen. Fondly remembered by Wayne Allen. Dear son of the late Donald & Margaret Laird. Loved brother of George (Mary), Jimmy (Ruby), of Hampton NB, Windsor (Margaret) of Edmonton AB, Mary (Dwaine) of Springfield NB. Predeceased by brothers Donald, Balfour, Bobby, and sisters Margaret (Percy Boyle), Betty (Greg Oliver) and Loretta (Jack Shannon). Brother in law of Mary, Doreen, and Ariel. The family of Mr. Laird will receive friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. West, Fenelon Falls on Thursday February 21, 2013 from 12 p.m. until the time of service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Spring Interment.
