Peacefully at Toronto Western Hospital on Wednesday December 3, 2014. Joe Avila in his 53rd year was the beloved son of Manuel and Jovina Avila of Richmond Hill. Loving brother of Jovina and her husband Brian Weekes, Maria and Louis Silva. Dear uncle of Jason Tomaz and his wife Alexis, Megan Silva and fiance Jason Lucci. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary Immaculate Roman Catholic Church, 10295 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill on Saturday December 13, 2014 at 1 p.m. The family of Joe Avila will receive friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes’ St. West, Fenelon Falls on Monday December 15 at 12:00 p.m., for prayers and blessings with interment to follow at Fenelon Falls Cemetery.
