Graham Arnold Lean, eldest son of Cecil and Mary Lean, completed his education at Powles Corner P.S. and Fenelon High School. He began working at Ormell Sand & Gravel as a young teenager and eventually became a heavy equipment operator. In 1970 Graham travelled to Australia with his brother Garry, but was drawn back to his beloved roots where he took up farming on the homestead near Cameron in 1972. Fondly known as 'Hartley' to the family, Graham was well-loved by the farming community. He continued farming the Lean farm & operating heavy equipment until his tragic death at 70 years, on Thursday, March 12, 2015. Graham will be deeply missed by his partner of 24 years, Joanne Lindsay & her brother David (Sue), his mother Mary, brother Garry (Margaret), sisters Donna Watson (Clarke) & Jeannette Bales (Merlyn) & brother Jim (Ann). Predeceased by his father Cecil (2003) & infant brother John (1952). Survived by children Yanci Pence (Todd) & Ben (Joanna), grand-daughter Asia & all his nieces and nephews. Graham will be sorely missed by his many neighbours, friends & relatives. A Celebration of Graham's Life will be held on Saturday, April 25th, 2015 1:00-4:00 pm, at the Legion, Fenelon Falls.
