Peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Friday February 12, 2016. Muriel Walker (nee McIntyre), in her 74th year was the beloved wife of the late K. Murray Walker. Dear mother of Carol and her husband Steve Bent, and Glenn. Dear grandmother of Jacob, Andrew and Sarah. Dear sister of Larry McIntyre, David McIntyre (Marion), Collin McIntyre (Tricia) and the late Barbara (Elmer Sanderson). Dear sister-in-law of Catherine Junkin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Muriel taught business at I.E. Weldon Secondary School for many years. She was a devoted member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. The family of Muriel Walker will receive friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes’ St. W. Fenelon Falls, on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 89 Colborne St. Fenelon Falls on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. Memorial donations to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Kawartha Heritage Fenelon Falls or Ross Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
