Condolences

Condolence From: Everil Matthews
Condolence: I was very sorry to hear of Robbie's death. She was a very good friend to my cousin Avis Black, now also deceased. I had several holidays in Fenelon Falls with them both and we had lovely times together. I remember she particularly loved St Jacob's and took me there many times, explaining to me the Menonite community etc and lunching at Benjamin's. She was a very thoughtful and caring person with a sensible approach to life. I will miss her.

Condolence: I just read the obituary for Robbie and I'm so sorry that I did not know about her passing - we were away for 2 months and I tried to phone her today only to discover that her phone was not connected.
Robbie and first met at Queen St Mental Health Centre in the early 70"s and remained in touch throughout the years. My husband and I did visit Robbie and her Mom in Fenelon Falls 4 years ago when our son was married in Peterborough.
My condolences to all who held her dear.

Condolence: Robbie was an amazing support to the RMH Community Counselling Staff as she helped us develop a great working relationship with the previous Whitby Mental Health Centre.
She brought her compassion and sense of humour to all our team and planning meetings. She was also Ron Ballantyne's ear on the ground for us when we needed support for a project. Her down to earth style and great respect for those with serious mental illness will always be greatly missed.
Rest in peace for awhile Robbie then on to new projects - I think I hear Doug Michel calling -----

Condolence: I am not sure who Robbie's family were but I shall miss her. She took over my job at Whitby Psych in the late 80's and did a remarkable service to the community, both to her patients and to the future of mental health services in the City of the Kawartha Lakes.
Rest in Peace friend.
