Obituary for Edward James Campbell

Edward James Campbell
EDWARD JAMES CAMPBELL
Born: December 8, 1978 - Red Lake
Died: December 11, 2017 - Fenelon Falls

It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that we share the news of the recent passing of our son Edward just 3 days after his 39th birthday. Ed passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in his family home that he so dearly loved on Cameron Lake. Ed is survived by his wife Shannon (nee Reimer of Bobcaygeon), his two daughters, Kathryn (age 9), Klare (age 5), his brother Andy (Whistler, B.C.) and his parents, John and Judy Campbell (Fenelon Falls). Ed was truly a devoted husband, father and son. Family was his "everything".
In the summer of 2015, Ed, Shannon and girls moved to Hope, BC where he commenced a new career as a Customer Service Specialist (Produce) with NGR, a division of Loblaw. His new position required extensive travel throughout western and northern Canada. Ed tackled his new job with passion and enthusiasm. He treasured his friends and many colleagues within NGR and in the many stores he served. Ed gave everything he had to all of us but his physical heart failed him at a much too early age. His passing has been extremely devastating. We miss him so much as we strive to move forward with our daily lives. Although Ed has left this physical world we take comfort in the fact that heaven got another angel that may not fit into his wings but will always be present as our guardian angel as he watches over us.
Loblaw very graciously setup, and contributed to a trust fund for Kathryn and Klare. Donations can be made to www.gofundme.com/trust-fund-for-klare-kathryn. We sincerely thank all of those who have honoured Ed's memory through your comments and generous contributions to this fund. Your emails, cards, telephone calls and personal visits have been most comforting to us during this very stressful and difficult time. Cremation has taken place. We are grateful to Jardine Funeral Home for their assistance and support.
A celebration of Ed's life will be held at our family home on Cameron Lake later this summer. Details will be published at a later date as arrangements are confirmed. On-line condolences, memorial donations or to light a memorial candle please visit: www.jardinefuneralhome.com

Rest in Peace Edward!
We shall cherish your memory always.
