I so enjoyed meeting up with Daryl at the Fenelon Animal Clinic. We would laugh and giggle and guffaw and chortle over everything and nothing. It was so good for the soul.
I remember one day when she said the only difference between her and the pin-up girl on page 3 was that she would take 3 pages.
At the beginning of this year I promised myself that I would call and reconnect with Daryl because I missed her. Did I do that? No, and it will always be a great regret of mine.
I send my deepest sympathy to you, her family. Remember how lucky you were to have her in all of your lives.
Be kind to yourselves. She would want that.
