At the Age of 63, Bernie passed suddenly Saturday morning at the Peterborough Hospital. For 39 years Bernie was a loving devoted husband to Bonnie and father to their 4 beautiful Children; Jenn (TJ Lee), Rob (Marie Dunn), Jacqueline (Aaron Gingras) and Kaeli (Coty Beers). He was also blessed with 6 grandchildren; Ian, Jason Lee, Edwin, Lila Gingras, and Ryan, Katy Lynn Beers. Brother Bern leaves behind 2 brothers, 13 brother-in-law’s, 7 sisters, 7 sister in-laws and 31 nieces and nephews who called him Uncle Bern. Thank you to the ICU nurses and staff for their great care and compassion. A celebration of Bern’s life will take place at the Fenelon Falls Museum, 50 Oak Street, Fenelon Falls on Friday August 24, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. Dress casual, as Bern would appreciate everyone to be comfortable “Bermuda shirts and flip flops”
