Peacefully at Granite Ridge, Stittsville, on Monday September 20, 2010 in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband Bryce Hughes Young, sisters, Margaret Stevens, Evelyn Manning, Leta Recalla and brother Dick Hamilton. Velma will be greatly missed by her
children, Jack and Terry Young, Iris Young and Peter Quarrington and her grandchildren, Kendra (Marc Axehorn), Craig (Lesley Dolan), Jean, Kate, Kristopher, Ross and Mary.
