Life Story for Michael Ronald Anderson

Michael Ronald Anderson
Michael Ronald Anderson:
August 7, 1953 - November 22, 2012
Michael Ronald Anderson passed away at home in Toronto on Thursday, November 22, 2012. Michael was the loving, life- partner of Margot Mitchell. He was the dear son of Barbara and Tom Anderson of Peterborough and loved brother of Cathy Anderson, Judy Anderson and her husband Joe Straszewski, and David Anderson. Michael is remembered fondly by two nieces, Victoria and Rebecca.
Michael was the brother-in-law of Richard Mitchell, Rosemary and John Teed and Jim and Sharon Phelps.
Other family members who remember Michael with love are his uncle Phil LaGree of California, Ronald Anderson and family of Chicago, and cousins Paul and Pamela Colnette of California. Michael was predeceased by his dear aunt, Pat LaGree.
Michael's life-long passion was music, and as a young man, he played drums in several rock bands, the Viletones and the Secrets. Their music was heard in the Toronto area and as far away as New York City.
By trade, Michael was an electrician and worked for two electrical workers' unions… IBEW and IATSE. His favourite job was as movie set electrician on film crews in Toronto.
The family of Mr. Anderson will receive friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 8 Princes' St. West, Fenelon Falls on Wednesday November 28, 2012 from 12 p.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Michael's cremated remains will be interred at Fenelon Falls Cemetery at a later date. Michael loved nature and all animals, so in lieu of flowers, the family requests that friends remember Michael by making a charitable donation to the SPCA or the Toronto Humane Society, or The Canadian Wildlife Foundation. In his memory, a tree will be planted at Mitchell Farm, Windy Hill. On line condolences, memorial donations or to light a memorial candle please visit www.jardinefuneralhome.com
