It is with heavy hearts we announce Margaret has entered into rest peacefully on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay surrounded by family. Margaret (nee McNab) of Bayview Estate Road, Fenelon Falls, was in her 77th year. Beloved wife of Harvey Jardine for 32 years. Loving mother of Donna Jean Sluman of Fenelon Falls, Allan Jardine and his wife Wendy of Dundas, and Jo-Lynn Jardine and her partner Randy Balzer of Millgrove. Margaret has a very special relationship with niece Catherine Burns and her husband Keith of Scotland with whom she affectionately referred to as another daughter and her best friends Ann and Jim McIntyre. She is the cherished nana of Ryan (Heena), Robyn (Christine), Kyle, Jules, Carly, Jake, Kodie, Katie-Lynn, Cole, Jack and great-nana of Solomon and Adam. Margaret is survived by her brother George McNab and his wife Luanne of Fenelon Falls and is pre-deceased by her mother and father, Catherine and George McNab, sisters; Janetta and Mary. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Bonnie Steeves and her husband Brian of Moncton, N.B., several nieces and nephews and the unique special bond she had with her niece Tara and Soloman of Moncton N.B. The family of Margaret Jardine will receive friends at the JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 8 Princes' St. W., Fenelon Falls, on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of memorial service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held in the summer in Moncton, N.B.
