Granny was a very special lady. One of the things I admired most about her was the way she spoke her mind and never left you with a question of how she felt about any situation. She stood for what she felt was right and that is a great quality to be found in anyone. Two of the most important skills she imparted to me was Euker and Canasta. How do people go through life never having played these games? Some of my favorite childhood memories are sitting in Granny and Granddad's little trailer at the cottage in the rain playing cards for hours. Granny was one of a kind and I will miss her very much.
